Animalintex veterinary bandage
Animalintex veterinary dressing is a recognized, respected, and fully approved product with multiple uses. It is ideal for treating infected wounds, open wounds, ulcers, abscesses, laminitis, and bruises. It can be used hot or cold.

Effect
Animalintex contains boric acid and tragacanth gum. Boric acid minimizes infection and accelerates healing. Tragacanth gum acts as a natural compress, drawing out impurities and infection, reducing inflammation, and creating a clean, moist environment for healing. The dressing is made of medicated cotton that absorbs pus and wicks away infected moisture from the body, for a cleaner environment. The polyethylene backing wicks away impurities and retains moisture and warmth for faster healing.

Instructions for use
Cut the dressing to the desired size. Boil water, let it cool to 38°C (100.4°F), immerse the dressing, and wring it out. In the case of infected pus, it is important that the dressing be moist, not wet, to allow for absorption. If using a cold dressing, wait for the boiling water to cool. Clean and dry the affected area, apply the dressing, and secure it with a bandage. Change the dressing at least every 12 hours and monitor the healing process.
