Collagens are proteins that are found naturally in the body. Constituent element of bones, joints, cartilage, connective tissues and blood vessels, they represent 30% to 35% of the body's total proteins. In the body, collagen is of three types. Type I is the most abundant and is found in skin, tendons, and bone tissue. Type II is found in cartilage. Finally, that of type III is found in the muscles and the walls of the vessels.

Collagen protects and maintains joint flexibility. It thus contributes to the vitality and well-being of the horse, ensuring joint comfort on a daily basis.
