Composition

LITHOTHAMNE – Lithothamnium calcareum . Corallinaceae family

Lithothamnium is a calcareous algae which has the particularity of capturing the minerals contained in seawater in ionized form. The lithothamnium is purplish red in color. It is found on the Atlantic coast, particularly in Brittany but also in the Mediterranean at depths of 15 to 20cm deep.

Components: minerals (calcium, sodium, magnesium, iodine, iron, manganese, silica…), amino acids, vitamin C, aspartic and glutamic acid, alginates.

The minerals and trace elements crystallize once the seaweed is picked. It thus becomes an excellent alkaline source. For this reason, lithothamnium is composed of 33% calcium carbonate.

using advice

Dose to add to the basic ration for an adult horse (500kg): 50 g/day for 30 days. Administer if possible in 2 daily doses. To renew if necessary. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask your veterinarian for advice.
