Air Cooled Original competition gaiters are our longest and best selling cross country gaiters.

Made from a combination of 2520D ballistic nylon and microfiber leather. Strong yet supple microfiber leather covers the important parts of the gaiters. They have an EVA liner, which is water resistant and prevents the gaiters from retaining water and becoming heavy. Excellent gaiters for Cross events.

How do air-cooled competition gaiters work?

When the horse gallops, the air passes through the front vents, circulates and exits through the side vents. This process allows a constant flow of cold air to pass through the tendons, keeping them cool.

Care advice

First remove horsehair and dried sweat with a brush. Then make sure all bindings are closed and machine washed at 30° with a non-biological detergent. Allow to air dry.
