Pediclay, a clay designed to repair damaged frogs:
The exclusive formula of this 100% natural paste combines the absorbent properties of clay with the protective virtues of tar:
- Bentonite clay: used in many external treatments for its purifying properties, clay has a high water absorption capacity. Its composition, rich in various nutrients, also makes it an excellent material that promotes the regeneration of the spongy tissue of the frog.
- Tar: Tar is obtained by pyrolysis (slow combustion in the absence of oxygen) from wood. It is a mixture of resin and empyreumatic oil that creates a protective layer on the sole and frog. Its properties are linked to its chemical composition, which contains phenolic compounds and lipophilic compounds (resin acids, terpenes). Polyphenols are particularly known for their antioxidant properties.
- Thyme and tea tree essential oils: both are traditionally used for their cleansing and purifying properties.
